The situation
Most language apps drill vocabulary in isolation. Reading is where a language becomes usable, but finding text at the right level — hard enough to teach, easy enough to finish — is the part learners give up on.
What we built
- AI-generated passages tuned to the learner's level and interests, so there is always something readable today
- Reading tools inside the text: tap a word, keep the flow, do not leave for a dictionary
- Progress tracking that measures reading done, not streak theatre
- An event model designed up front, so the product's own data can answer what actually makes people come back
