The situation
Habit apps optimise for the streak, which means the day you break it is the day you delete the app. The product punishes exactly the person it should be helping.
What we built
- One grid: rows are habits, days run across. Miss a day and nothing turns red — the square just stays blank
- React Native on Expo, shipping to both stores from one codebase where that trade-off is right
- Subscription layer through Adapty, with the paywall treated as a testable surface
- A web app next to the two store apps, plus its own marketing site and organic search strategy
