The situation
Calorie apps fail on two counts: logging a meal takes longer than eating it, and doing it alone gets boring by week two. Kalo attacks both — the camera does the logging, and your partner sees your day.
What we built
- Photograph a plate, an agentic AI pipeline returns the calories — no searching a food database
- Shared days between partners, or a small circle of up to five friends — someone cheers the moment you save a meal
- Twin native apps: SwiftUI on iOS, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android — not one codebase pretending
- Subscriptions through Adapty, with paywall variants that can actually be tested against each other
- Live on both stores, with Apple Search Ads discovery campaigns running across several countries
